"JLR has proven to be a valuable partner in providing both state-of-the-art FEA software tools and the training required to effectively and efficiently use those tools. My experience with the personnel at JLR has been very positive. They are very responsive to the technological needs and requests presented to them and provide flexible solutions to meet our on-going needs."

Mentoring

After formal finite element analysis (FEA) or computational fluid dynamics (CFD) training is completed, some students may struggle in applying their newfound knowledge to their real-life problems. In our classroom, problems are generally well defined. However, problems are never that easy to solve back at your office. For example:

  • What are the loads?
  • What are the boundary conditions?
  • Do I need to account for nonlinear effects?
  • What parts of my product do I need to include in the simulation?
  • What can I safely ignore?
  • What do my results mean?

We will work with you to develop the best modeling techniques and processes such that you will be successful in implementing this technology.
